choose death over what they deem to be an unbearable life with pain both physically and/or mentally. As many comments state “Hey, a person has a right to choose”. So what exactly are they choosing? They assume that all pain disappears with death and they know this how? No one has come back to tell us what exists on the other side for all we know we take our pain with us.

You know it all sounds reasonable, good, understandable to be able to choose when to die or when to have a baby or what ever. In the case of abortion you are not just dealing with yourself even though you tell yourself you are but you are dealing with a life form. Science has clarified that life begins at conception because DNA is present at the time of conception and DNA means life. In the case of assisted suicide then you only have yourself to answer to and oh doesn’t it seem plausible that a person has a right to choose when he or she dies particularly if they are suffering from some debilitating disease. Unfortunately it doesn’t stop there. Somehow that little slippery slope always pops up somewhere.

Let’s take a look at the history of Euthanasia/Assisted Suicide.

Now we all know from history books that Socrates was forced to drink poison because those in power objected to his way of thinking. He drank hemlock, killing himself. I guess you could say it was his choice because his alternative wasn’t real pretty. If he hadn’t drunk from the cup of death then the powers that be at the time would have killed him in what might have been a more horrendous manner.

1920 – a book by the title “Permitting the Destruction of Life not Worthy of Life” was written by the authors Alfred Hoche, MD, a professor of psychiatry at the University of Freiburg and Karl Binding, a professor of law from the University of Leipzig, argued that patients who ask for “death assistance” should under very carefully controlled conditions be able to obtain it from a physician, This book helped support involuntary euthanasia by Nazi Germany.

1935- The Euthanasia Society of England was formed to promote euthanasia

1939- Nazi, Germany. In October 1939 Hitler orders widespread “mercy killing” of the sick and disabled. Code named “Akton T4″ the Nazi euthanasia program to eliminate ”life unworthy of life” at first this was focused on newborns and very young children. It was quickly expanded to include adults.

In the early 1930′s a number of prominent German academics and medical professionals were espousing the theory of “unworthy life”, a theory which advanced the notion that some lives were simply not worthy of living.

Dr. Ernst Rudin, who believed not only that these were lives not worth living, but that doctors had a responsibility to destroy such life and remove it from the general populations. The unapologetic Dr. Rudin began sterilization and extermination of the following flaws lest they reproduce and further contaminate the German gene pool; feeble-mindedness, Schizophrenia, manic depression or as it’s called today by-polar, epilepsy, hereditary blindness, deafness, physical deformities, Huntington’s disease and alcoholism.

Ten Commandments? What, that old list of outdated laws? After all they are 3,000 years old. Get with it folks. Times have changed.

Fetus

Of course I’m being facetious. An incident at my brother-in-laws church puzzled both of us. Somehow a discussion of abortion came up and most of the women in the group were pro-abortion. Here these women were religious and supposedly believed in the word of God but thought that it was perfectly alright to kill an unwanted baby. They called it a woman’s right to choose. How far have we gone with this subject?

We have gone from believing abortion was for incest, rape and health of a mother to the article below that was in the Weekly Standard www.weeklystandard.com March 29, 2013 by John McCormach

Florida legislators considering a bill to require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion were shocked during a committee hearing this week when a Planned Parenthood official endorsed a right to post-birth abortion.

Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Rep. Daniel Davis then asked Snow, “What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”

“I do not have that information,” Snow replied. “I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”

Did you ever think we would come this far? Just the idea that it is being discussed is beyond the pale. It sounds so logical when pro-abortionist and pro-euthanasia enthusiast talk about a person’s right. The right to their own body or the right to die with dignity. This is the tease. What they don’t tell you is the slippery slope that occurs as in the example above. What starts off as reasonable develops into something far more sinister slowly introducing more and more of the end game.

What is the end game? That is what I am trying to discover…………..To be continued.

Did you know that a doctor can prescribe medication for you including psychotropic drugs without ever laying eyes on you and it is perfectly legal?

drugs

In the state of New Jersey, my mother’s doctor that over-drugged her did just that and it is perfectly legal. As a matter of fact he does that with all his patients in that particular hospital. He never goes by to see them. Instead he makes decisions by being told by the nurses and medical staff about the state of a patient.

When a doctor sees a patient he/she not only sees the condition of a patient but it’s known that when you are physically near another human being you can feel their essence. That’s why a relationship is always lacking if it is strictly across some media connection, like the internet. And by that doctor not laying eyes on his patients, it says something else. It says “You are just not that important” or “I am too busy or too important to see you in person”. What does this tell the patients?

I blame this Laissez Faire attitude of this doctor for his mistake in over drugging my mother and eventually covering it up by doing the unthinkable. One of his comments after the fact was “According to the ‘Bell Curve” people your mother’s age take 15 different medications each day. Oh really! Well my mother wasn’t a part of the Bell Curve. She took very little medicine. She would halve or quarter anything she was taking.

I take no medication and strangely enough I recently had a doctor ask what medications I was taking, and I answered none. The doctor looked at me like I was lying and said “Are you sure?”.

My point is that we are over -medicating ourselves and the doctors are playing right along. I wonder why? Could it be that there is money involved? I have friends that take three antidepressants each day; one to help the first and the next to help the one that helped the first. You get my point.

Now I do think there are circumstances where people are getting massive help from medication. Those that have heart problems or cancer or diabetes. However, I really do believe there might be alternatives for even these conditions.

In nursing homes the elderly are being over-drugged to keep them docile and easy to handle. In most cases you don’t go to a nursing home to get better. It becomes a place where you are just waiting to die. And I find most people who go into a nursing home usually go downhill very quickly. The nursing homes are not interested in giving anyone a better quality of life. Again I am not speaking of every nursing home but in my experience this has been the case in most.

When a doctor prescribes medication for you ask if there are alternatives.

To be continued………………………………

Do you remember the movie “King Kong”? Actually there have been several versions since the original in 1933.

King Kong

If you remember the story, a huge Gorilla falls in love with a beautiful blonde human that fits in the palm of his hand. The beautiful blonde has strong feelings for the over sized monkey too. The basis of the story is the hint of the last of the forbidden taboos “Bestiality”.

The first Saturday in March Yale University engaged Dr. Jill McDevitt, a sexologist to host a sensitivity training seminar entitled “Sex Am I Normal”.

Dr. McDevitt indicated that incest, bestiality, pedophilia are all normal sexual feelings and incredibly common. Having sex with your dog or horse or gorilla are completely normal. I wonder how consenting the animals are?

In Nazi Germany experiments and torture was done using trained dogs and Jewish women. In Germany today bestiality brothels are becoming more and more popular.

The idea of bestiality demeans Human Exceptionalism. The more we do not believe in Human Exceptionalism the easier it is to consider life less worthy. This makes killing a fetus or killing the old an easy target. Gradually there is a plan in place and in operation.

I wonder if next year at “Yale’s Sex Weekend” they will bring in a pedophile or a member of Nambla to be inclusive of the other sexual diversities and understand pedophilia better. And will they also include children on their panel, asking them if they are comfortable being the target of some adult’s sexual desire?

The group B4U-Act, a pedophile group are lobbying the psych industry to normalize and be more “understanding” to pedophiles. The motto for Nambla is “If they’re 8 it’s too late”

The slippery slope is getting very slippery.

My mother was passively euthanized against her will by starvation and dehydration. In her case the reason was to cover up a medical mistake.

All too often this happens to the elderly. It is a way of euthanizing the old but without

dehydration

the patient or the patients loved ones realizing that it is a programmed death. It is so easy to kill the old ….”Well, these things happen, after all he/she was old”. Thousands have died in the Netherlands without consent since the first whisperings of euthanasia started in 1973. Many older people in the Netherlands have a fear of going to the hospital because they want to live. Some carry cards saying “Do not euthanize me”.

Across this country we dehydrate our elderly by not giving food or liquids, a death that comes slowly, often resulting in tissue cracking and bleeding. They call it withdrawing unwanted medical treatment. But food and water is basic substance and withholding this not only physically kills the person but also says that the person’s life is not worth living.

Dehydrating to death over 14 days, Terri Schiavo died without benefit of anesthesia, indeed, not even allowed ice chips on her lips. Eventually the elderly and infirmed will be anesthetized while their bodies drain of fluids.

In Terri Schiavo’s case, I remember her husband getting on a talk show and saying that it was the most humane thing to do because dehydration was such a peaceful death. Really? My response to that is try it yourself. Go without food or water for two to three days and see how peaceful you feel.

Recently a lady wrote me about the experience she had when her father was “processing” (new medical reference to dying). The nurse on duty told this woman that dehydrating her father would be good for him because it would force his body to produce endorphins to kill pain.

When I asked my mother’s doctor why she didn’t have an IV with fluids, his answer was “Well we didn’t want to over-hydrate her”. At that point I looked around his office to see if he had a medical degree.

Recently an emergency room nurse admitted that when an 80-year-old patient was recently admitted to the emergency room, the physical on duty said “Let’s Dehydrate Her”.

If you are 65 years old or older be aware. This is scary stuff.

WARNING: The video below could be very upsetting.

The video depicts Michele Causse (1936-2010), a lesbian theorist, translator and author. She was suffering from a non-lethal bone disease. She went to Dignitas (a group in Switzerland that help those with terminal illness and severe mental and physical illness to die) to end her life with assisted suicide. She was given 15g of powdered Nembutal (Pentobarbital Sodium) dissolved in 60 ml of normal tap water.

This was aired on Swiss TV

When I first saw this video about a year a go, it ended with seeing her actually pass away. It’s been cut since then, even the longer version only has her getting sleepy. The interesting thing about the original that had her actually passing was the look on her face. It was not peaceful but rather contorted and very blank. Perhaps that is why they cut it.

I have had the privilege of seeing two people die in my life; my father and a very dear friend. When my father died the look on his face said it all. It was not only peaceful but exuberant. I was holding his hand and could literally feel him go.

My dear friend had suffered with a liver transplant rejection and was in horrible pain The last couple of days he had a constant morphine drip and he felt no pain. I knew he would pass when he was ready and shortly after midnight on a Wednesday night he left us. Within 15 to 20 seconds of passing, he got this smile on his face as if he was seeing something so incredible and enchanting.

What I watched on the video above was not like that. And by the way she did not have a terminal disease.

The definition of Euthanasia comes from the Greek meaning easy death. I am not so sure that it is an easy death. We as humans assume that all pain ceases when we leave this life, but no one has come back to tell us whether that is true or not. How horrible to think that people commit suicide to get rid of their pain only to find out that they have taken it with them.

To be continued………………………………..

My mother was murdered in a hospital 5 years ago this past Friday February 8th.

Pills Kill

Yes 5 years ago and although life has continued over all, I still cannot let what happened to my mother go. There are some things in life that you will never forget. How can I possibly forget that 5 medical professionals let my mother starve and dehydrate, watching her get weaker and weaker each day and discouraging me from seeing her, lying to me about her condition.

Except for dementia my mother was in great health. Her blood pressure was excellent for someone her age. She didn’t have cancer, or diabetes or heart problems. She could walk and talk, feed herself, dress herself. She knew who she was, where she was and where she was born. Within 5 days of entering that death trap of a hospital, my mother was dead. She had gone to the hospital to supposedly adjust some medication for her dementia.

I had no delusions that my mother was going to live forever and had she died a week later from a heart attack, that she died when she wanted to die or when God called her was important. No one has the right to play God and decide when you should die or what your quality of life should be. Refer to my article about Aruna Shanbaug (Live & Let Die).

The first couple of years after my mother died, I lived in a very dark place not wanting to go on with my life. But time solves so many problems and I soon began to realize I needed to go on with my life if for no other reason than to inform people of what really goes on in hospitals. Thank goodness I had taken detailed notes when the incident happened.

We are so worried about “Death Panels” that are to come, well I have new for you, they are already here. Unbelievable things are happening to our loved ones and could happen to us.

The Gun Control debate rages on.

So many innocent victims murdered in recent years that makes us take pause and wonder who we are as a nation. Everyone has an opinion either pro or con on the issue.

My opinion is that gun control will not solve the problem. Even if we have a Federal ban on guns totally, it would not stop a black market siege of weapon disbursement. Think about this; we have a Federal Law prohibiting the sale of illegal drugs, however the drug trade to this country is a multi billion dollar business. Criminals ignore all drug laws and there will never be a gun control law that will stop a criminal from obtaining a gun.

Chicago is a case in point. There were approximately 500 murders in Chicago last year and guess what, Chicago has one of the toughest gun laws in the country. I understand the frustration of the pro gun control people who feel something has to be done. However I think we have to look at some alternatives to protecting our citizens as best we can.

I do find it odd that those that want gun control so desperately to protect people, particularly children, are the same people who are pro abortion and would like to legalize euthanasia

I do think we do need to up the background check for potential gun owners. What did Seung - Hui Cho credited with the massacre at Virginia Tech in 2007, Jared Loughner credited with the mass murder in Tucson Arizona in 2011, James Holmes of Aurora Colorado credited with the mass murder of the movie theatre patrons in 2012 and Adam Lanza credited with the mass killing of all those beautiful elementary children in Newtown, Conn in 2012 all have in common? They were all mentally ill.

The definition of mental illness is a psychiatric disorder that results in a disruption in a person’s thinking, feeling, mood and ability to relate to others. Perhaps it’s time to re-think our mental health laws.

However the most deadly school massacre in US history was at an elementary school in Michigan in 1927. There was no gun involved, instead committed by a bomb by a mentally disturbed man.

Until next week……………………Selah, Elaine Marlowe Mitchell

Having the right to choose to have a baby or having the right to die with dignity sounds reasonable in theory, but what happens when these abortions, assisted suicides and euthanasia get out of control?

The other day a friend who is pro-choice confronted me with ” I can’t believe you don’t think a woman has a right to choose, after all it is her body”. I said “because it’s murder”. He came back with, “No it’s not because it’s not alive yet”. “Really” I said, , “and you know this because science tells us it’s not alive until a baby takes its first breath”. Of course my friend is in the dark. There isn’t a person in the world that can tell you absolutely when life begins, no more than they can tell you when life ends.

At one time, if someone stopped breathing or when their heart stopped or when there was no brain activity, they were considered dead. But how many times have you heard of people coming back to life after being pronounced dead?

I continued with a monologue about the slippery slope of abortion. I gave a history lesson on how originally abortion was for the life of the mother, rape or incest. Forty years later there is abortion on demand and gender abortion with an extremely small percentage being done for the life of the mother, incest or rape. We have now moved into the realm of late-term abortion and after birth abortion. My friend looked at me quizzically and asked “What do you mean by after birth abortion”. I explained that there have been cases where the abortion failed and the baby was born. The doctor throws the screaming baby in the sink or the trash to let it die. “Do you approve of that?”, I said. Or we could move into the world of Peter Singer who believes that a mother has the right to kill her baby up to two years old because they really aren’t a person until they have been socialized. So where does this end? The Aztecs believed that a child should not be named until they were seven years old since they were not really a person until then and so many babies and small children died of disease and crib death, why waste a name.

I went on to discuss that the medical world thinks they are close to discovering the “gay” gene. What if they do and a doctor tells a young couple that they have a good chance of having a gay baby. What is the chance that child would be aborted. How would you feel about that? I could tell he had a different look on his face. You see my friend happens to be gay. How interesting the take people have when it hits close to home.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. To be continued………………….

I haven’t written an article on this blog for some time. I have started another blog called beautifulboomer.net. It was to counter act the seriousness of this blog and the subject of this blog is very serious and needs to be taken as such.

I have many friends that think I am over stretching the subject and several years ago I would have agreed with them. With the death of my mother and the journey I have traveled since then with all the research I have done I realize that this is far more real than ever imagined.

The first time I ever heard the phrase “One World Order” was about 30 years ago and at first I thought what a great idea that the world would come together and hunger and poverty would be a thing of the past. Then as time went on I thought it a far out conspiracy theory. No, no, no don’t kid yourself it’s not a conspiracy theory and don’t let anyone else try to make this a chuckle matter. It’s not. It’s very real and there are people as you read this that are working toward this end. The goal is to have a group of men/women that control the world, the whole enchilada with one government, language, monetary system and a reduction of the population. Yeah that’s right a population reduction from 7 Billion to 1 Billion. It sounds great in theory because it would be easier for the 1 Billion to eat and not live in poverty. But also to control and finally everyone would be working for the same end, but what end is that or should I ask whose end.

Now the question is how are they going to get rid of 6 Billion people? Execute, have a war, put poison in the drinking water……what? No the solution is to make death very attractive. Now that takes longer but oh boy, it will work like a charm. And it’s been in the works for years.

As mentioned in an earlier article, in the early 1970′s the argument against abortion was the fear that there would be a slippery slope with abortion on demand. Those in favor yelped, oh no-no, it is only for the health of the mother, rape and incest. And here we are years later and do you know how many abortions are done for the health of the mother, or incest or rape? Very, very few. And not only has abortion on demand become the norm but late-term abortions and post birth abortions are quickly become a normal procedure. Peter Singer who is a professor at Princeton University wrote a paper making the statement that a child under the age of 2 years , is not a person. ”It” doesn’t have the where with all to be a person. Thus a mother has the right to kill that child up to 2 years old. Of course that hasn’t been passed and let’s hope that never does. So you can see where this is going? ……………..To be continued
